I'm ordering the last of my parts Wednesday. They should be balanced and back in hand by the end of the month, then 3 short weeks for re-assembly and testing.

I spent another 1.5 hr polishing my wheels, POWER BALL...even removed the pass side rear rim and polished it on the bench. Then I cruised over to Sevent1Nomad CRAIG's for a bit. His wagon is a pretty darn impressive machine.....

When she got back from the movies, I told wifey I'd been polishing my wheels. Wifey said I should get new wheels ......so gonna have to take her up on this at some point....might mean I have another room to remodel or something! I'll be quoting her when I submit the proposal....I did say tires too, she said, DON'T PUSH IT.

I have to pass on the cruise for another couple of months. Look out this summer, though..the 66 will be street-legal once again and threatening everything in its way! I can't wait.

Still no tags, windshield or exhaust, but my 'glass frontend is now done. With the vaccuum modulator hooked up on my tranny:clonk:, I should be able to hit 3rd gear by the time I reach the golf course at the end.:thumbsup:

Decided to bring home the '66 today :thumbsup: The weather looks good and my buddy has the day free so we can move some boats out of the way in his shop and get my car out, its been in storage too long! Smells like burnt rubber around here just thinking about it.

Whomever isnt taking there chevelle out today is out of their mind. Light em up boys....if you can....the season is about ready to begin.:hurray:

Tried out my first WOT from a stand still today since I put the transmission in last season, usually just go about 3/4throttle in 2nd and it goes pretty sideways. What do you know, jump on it from a stand still and it stayed pretty straight.:D

Was 57 here today, got a 45 minute cruise. I was a good boy, only squealed the tires twice.

I want to thank Ben and Kevin for taking me along as I'm Chevelle-less these days. I think both your cars are going to much, much better this season.

In my copious (Brett, this means "a lot of") spare time today I went and reconned some headers for Doc Smokum. I later picked them up for him. Nice day to be out!!!

He said he liked the wheels! I guess the recent wheel polishing has helped. Out back he had a bad-a$$ 67 Camaro w/468 and some serious stuff...runs 11s...NA, no squeeze. Another frigging BOEING employee.

Ya know, most every Boeing employee I know (8outa 9) has classic or muscle cars.....go figure.
