I just purchased a new PUI black headliner for my 67 Chevelle off ebay. The seller needs to know what style I want giving me a choice of basketweave, regent, or perforated. The problem is I don't know which one cause I don't know what any of them look like. I've searched the internet for hours trying to find pictures to go by and can't find anything. Does anyone have any pictures of these styles, or does anyone know what the best looking style is. Any help will be deeply appreciated.

Im pretty sure mine is perforated (67). I can go downstairs and check, I stil have my original down in the garage.
Id sure like to know how to go about installing a new one.

I think the 67 is perforated also, but I'm not sure. I'm not really interested in replacing it with what is supposed to be there. I just want one that looks good.
As far as doing it myself, I'm going to give it a try. You hear all these war stories about how hard it is, but I really don't think it is that difficult. I pulled my old one out yesterday, cleaned all the old glue off the glue rails, and now I'm going to pull out the rods, clean them up and paint them to make them smooth so the liner flows over them easy during the pulling to tighten it process. I think its just one of those jobs that you take your time and it will turn out okay. I've been doing alot of reading about it and I think I got it down.

Id be interested in hearing how you did it, pics would be great. Mine was removed years ago by someone else, want to reinstall it myslef to avoid having to bring the car to a shop and have some monkey mess it up anyway.

I'll let you know. I probably won't get the headliner delivered until sometime next week. So when I get it and do it, I'll take some pictures. Hopefully everything will turn out okay.

I've done a few, its more time consuming than difficult. Definitly a measure twice, cut once kind of job!
