I guy's, just wondering if someone can point me to a link that can describe the differences between the engines stated if the header, and the differences in the cars with the different hp ratings(if there were any).
Just want to know so I can try and work out which 396hp rating my '67 originally was :D ....when I eventually get my grubby little hands on it :(

cheers
Jim

325-350 HP basically the same motor with the 350HP having a bigger cam. The 375 HP is a completely different deal. 4bolt block (the others were almost all 2 bolt) Big port heads and alum. intake with 780 Holley, solid lifter cam (others were hydro) better rods.

Mike,
He didn't ask the differences in the HP and why so much as to what the fittings and other clues found in the car to tell him what the original engine was....such as a 375 horse would have this diff code, this certain fitting, fuel lines shaped like....while a 350 horse car would have had XYZ but not 123 and a 325 horse would have....

First thing that comes to mind is if it has A.C., it's not a 375hp. If you had the original radiator that can give clues. Drawing a blank on anything else right now...
