I got one from Aussley, had to remove alot of tabs on the back for my radio and speedo cluster to fit properly. The tabs would not let these parts fit tight in place...they held them out to far.
Also the steering collum plate doesn't seem to want to fit in. It is a little off side to side., but that could be the cover not the dash insert. I have yet to install it in the car as I am redoing my dash wire harness. The thing does look great though, it was chrome plastics and then painted black.
Hope that helps

I got one (I forget where--I use different suppliers according to price). Anyway, beside cutting out some tabs, I really had to "persuade" it to fit in. It looks really nice now, as I didn't crack anything on the install, but the problem I had was lining up the ashtray. I wound up drilling holes in the bracket to make it fit. If I had to do it again, I would get my original dash insert repaired and refinished.

I have one in my car..forget where I got it, but it was a golden legion with the infamous gold sticker...made in you know where.

ditto the tabs on the back...I think they are something to do with the plastic molding process. you will need a nice sharp razor knife or something to cut those out of the way, they interfered with installation.

my suggestion is to have a patient friend there to help you do it. I wound up taking it in and out several times before I got it to fit in place perfectly, mainly because of those plastic tabs. with that said, it looks great when its installed.

Also, the screws supplied seemed like they really stressed the plastic when being screwed in...So I chased the holes with the screws a couple times before the final installation, just to be sure it didnt crack. be careful on this step or a loud F bomb will result.

If I had an original, non-hacked up dash, I might send it out..but my radio hole was cut. one of my buddies sent his dash out for a buick, and he didnt seem 100% thrilled with the results, but not sure where it went. i have heard good things about just dashes though.

Ditto on everthing already said especially the column cover. I think I ended up using my old one. One tip I remember. The repos have the chrome accent on the outer rim covered over with black paint I removed it with thinner and it looked good afterwards. Mine was Golden legion also. I'm not sure if they are the only ones that repo the insert or not but it seemed it was the same brand available from all the suppliers.
