so it's time to change the rearend (3.73's in a 12 bolt) and I've been throwing around the idea of getting rid of the 1 3/8" sway bar. Thats right a rear 1 3/8" sway bar. My question is would it be worth it to get rid of the sway bar in favor of ladder bars? Or should I just put some lift bars on it and keep the sway. The reason I was thinking ladder's are I have horrible wheel hop, shakes the whole car.

I've found that if you keep the rearend of the Chevelle low there will be either no or minimal wheel hop. I'm talking less that two inches between the top of the wheel well lip and the top of the rim. Our 427 never had wheel hop and it was more like 1.5 inches above the rim. Four speed cars are more susceptible to wheel hop that the automatics.
