i want to get some forged pistons and better rods to put in the 355 but do i need to rebore? its a .030 over 350 w/ fed mogul 9.35:1 hyperutectic pistons. can i just take my new rods and pistons and put them in this block or will it need a rebore to fit the pistons perfectly. i would be replcing .030 over pistons with .030 over forged pistons and scat 4340 rods

The clearance is built into the piston not the bore.
I am assuming this is a good bore & not worn??

yeah, bore had no ridge last summer and has probly 2500 miles since then. so i CAN or CANT do this.

No Problem, just check the clearance & hone it, as I said, if it was bored properly it should be fine ;)
