I have original buckets for the 67 to replace the bench. The buckets have seen better days. I want to build up the side bolsters and then have some custom covers made with suede centers. I was thinking about replacing all the springs with foam; different densities. Start by building a solid platform out of a sheet of aluminum or steel... then build layers of foam on that. I also want to do the same for the back seats. I know late model seats are built like this...

Has anyone done this? Any pics?

Also, anyone installed some carbon fiber seat heaters?
