I don't think I can get the the pipes out the back on my 70 Chevelle cause of the way that the fuel pump is and the hose for that. Does anybody have any pictures of the exhaust dumping out the side before or just after the rear wheels? I am thinking of doing this cause I think it might look cool but would love to see a picture.

I don't have a photo readily available, but I think the side dump just behind the wheels is the best musclecar look there is for exhaust. You can just barely make out the exhaust tips in the first photo of feature on my car: http://www.chevelles.com/feature/january2001.html You can find even more photos on my website found in my signature line.

Side dumps look much better too if the end of the pipe is partially cut off at a 45-degree angle to the pipe, the way the factory always did it.
