Hello Everyone
I have a simulated 67 chevelle wooden steering wheel. I bought the mounting kit for it.
The black plastic protector has a nub on it. How is this installed. I can't find any kind of grove that it slides in.

Also when I attach the horn cap there doesn't seem to have any give to it to make the horn sound.
Need Help AGAIN

John,
I had the same set up on my 66 when I bought it and it worked fine, I however didn't do the install. My 69 had the aftermarket style sport wheel and the horn didn't work when I bought it, I pulled it apart and had to play with everything to get it to work, cut the pin and spring, even had to stick a small piece of plastic down inside to insulate a constant contact that wasn't suppose to be happening.
I found that it's an assemble and tinker to get it right, as it is ..my horn will blow at the slightest contact, but it works.
Here's a drawing showing assembly procedure, hope it helps.

Thanks Seb,
Good to hear from you again. I'll work on the wheel after I try and install the BW ( this try will be #8).
Take Care

It's one of those things that is easier to do ... than to explain how to do.:(
