does anyone know if the 6cy and the 8cyl steering box and pump on a 65 chevelle are the same??

Yes they are the same, the PS brackets will be different. Philip

Thanks Philip,i thought so because I'm having a heck of a time finding the proper brackets.Everyone says any small block setup will work but the pump wants to hit either the steering box or the block and the pully's won't line up.I just don't know.
