I just picked up a rough bezel. It has numerous pits in it.

This is pot metal I believe, I am thinking they can make this bezel like new again if it were replated and all the holes and pits filled in????

Once I get it looking new again will it stay like that as well??

Appreciate any advice on getting this piece replated and polished.
