Getting close to the time to start putting our 67 chevelle back together and we would like to add a good stereo system and put it in the glove box. What I do not want to do is just set in it the glove box and cut an opening for it to stick out the back. Is there any company out there that makes a custom glove box liner that is built to support a stereo up off the bottom of the liner?

Thanks
Larry

The easiest thing to do is buy the mounting housing that is designed for under the dash. Flip it upside down and secure it to the liner. Here is a pic of mine.

Not that I could find, so I made my own liner out of black foam core display board from Hobby Lobby.

I did something similar to what is in the BelAir picture. I also purchased an IR remote repeater so that I could operate the stereo via remote with the glove box door closed.
