Anyone ever use these? are they good, semi-correct, easy to install?

I was stripping off the old covers on one of my buckets yesterday, and I noticed the "seat bottom" spring was broken; one of the main wires where it goes into the back of the seat base...

I figured it was probably a good investment to replace these...


Also, assuming the "seat back" springs are okay (less stress over the years), but have minor surface rust, would it be a good idea to just paint the springs with POR15/ etc?

I realize if there has been much section loss in the spring, I should just replace it...
