ok guys, here's the deal, its time to order a manifold for my big block, and I don't know which to get. My brother is leaning towards a torker 2 for the top end power, but I have heard and read here that the performer and air-gap series are better manifolds. The motor is assembled, but has never run so I don't have any numbers to go off of yet. Here's the basic combo:
454 .030 over
9.5:1 comp, KB domed pistons
isky 286 cam
781s pocket ported, larger valves (can't remember exact sizes)
TH 400, will have 2500-3000 stall
10 bolt, either 3.08 or 2.73 gears, whatever came stock with a 70 malibu.

The shop that built the motor said it will run to 6200 with out a problem, and the goal was about 430 hp and around 500ft of torque. This is the first big block I have built, and any advice I could get would be greatly appreciated!

Absolutely, with mild gears and stall, dual plane without a doubt. Ran a GM #163 with 1/2" spacer to 7400 rpms. Is that high enough??? ;)

You want either an RPM or an RPM air gap intake.
