I could use some help here. I have a 68 ss 396 without air. The front spring I pulled out of the car have a taper on them. The new ones I ordered from napa don't even though the box says they do.

Do 68ss 396 front springs have a taper on one end?

My original front BB springs didn't have a taper, i used moog front springs.

moog part # 5400 for AC cars and 5374 for non AC cars. Thats not to say some companies didn't make a taper style spring with the correct spring rate that would work fine.
