Has anyone used AMPERFORMANCEHEADS.COM? They have vortec heads listed on Ebay and the guy is local to me here in Houston. Prices are good, but I'm always skeptical of low pricing when it comes to Ebay. I've been looking for a cheap set of used heads to have re-worked, but I have lost too many auctions on ebay. I've decided to go with a machine shop that will sell the heads custom built to my application and that's what this shop apprears to do.

Make sure you get the good casting Vortec heads, some flow better than others. I have a local yard here that sells the 906 castings for $150 per pair but they need to be freshened in most cases. They should have the saw tooth casting mark on the front of the head, some people hog out the vane on the swirl port models and try to pass them off as Vortecs.
