Ok im going to be getting a new set of cylinder heads for my 350. It has the performer RPM cam so the goal is to make compression.

The question is, which would be better:

Trick flow 23 degree:

Edelbrock Performer RPM:

350-60899 Performer RPM, Straight Plugs, 64cc, Complete

If the Trick flows are the better choice, which valve spring option is equivelent the the edelbrock head?

Which felpro gasket part number will work flawlessly with these heads while maximizing the compression?

* I'd go e-tec, but i dont want to buy another intake to fit the vortec style.

Now that i think about it, if you guys recommend it, I would go with the Edelbrock e-Tec 170's with a performer RPM air-gap. Only if its better than the other 2 options.

From what I heard the e-tech 170cc don't perform any better than the stock vortecs. Not sure which is the cheaper way to go though

yeah im guessing they are just an aluminum version of the vortec head with some rebranding.

The question is, will the 195cc intake on the Trick flows be too much?

Yes the E-Tec 170s will outperform the Vortecs, and no, the 195cc heads will not be too much.

so would you go with the e-tecs or the trick flow heads?
