I was fortunate to have had a '71 Chevelle SS while in high school, a gift from my father, and kept it through college and until I was married. It was pretty well worn out, and had a fair amount of rust, when we finally traded it for a new truck in '76.
I have recently purchased a fully restored, '70 Chevelle SS, 454, 4 speed with bucket seats. I am working through some minor issues, such as no seat belts, windows not working properly, squeaking clutch petal, etc, but have nearly completed these items.
I have an itch to pull the motor, and replace with a 572/630. I have gained a lot of info by reading the trials and tribulations on this forum. I will continue to search and research. Sometimes, that is as much fun as doing the deed. Thanks to all who takes the time to share information.
