I have recently been having a problem flooring it from a stand still. When I do it it feels like the engine is going to quit on me, It kind of putters and the rpms float from about 600 to 1300 but no higher. Any help with figuring this out would be great.

Do the RPMs ever rise above 1600 or does it just take a while to get over that. If it just takes a while to climb I would guess that your jets in the carburetor are too big or something else fuel related is causing it to flood. Does the carb open all the way up when you push the gas all the way down or does it feel grabby when you press it. If you dont have someone to help you maybe find something to hold the accelerator all the way down and then check the carb to see if you can manually open the throttle linkage any more. If all that checks out the first thing that comes to mind is the fuel problem mentioned above. Im sure someone will reply with better info for me but I thought I would give you something to think about.
