The steering box will, but I don't know about the pump & brackets... might be for short-waterpump???

I've got 70 BBC P/S brackets.....More worried about the box to frame and the steering on the bottom.

The power steering pump and gear box should fit. It's the pitman arm I believe you will need to change. The pitman arms you need is for a 68 to 72 if my memory is correct. I just did my car in the last few months. Like you said the brackets my need to be changed depending on what water pump style you have.

Will my 69 pitman arm work on the 66 box?

Yes, but $275 is a lot to pay for a used slow-ratio steering box, unless you can re-sell the brackets and recoup most of the money.

Heck, many of us would practically give away our old boxes when we upgrade to a fast-ratio box. Put an ad in the members classifieds, and I'd bet you'll find a number of people willing to give you one for the cost of shipping. I have an extra one, but shipping things is a hassle for me because of my work schedule. :(

Jimmy,
64-72 A-body steering boxes (and prob newer until they went metric), will interchange.
If you need a steering box, just buy a rebuilt box from your local auto parts store for around $150. I wouldn't suggest going backwards with an older used unit.
There's tons of info on steering box conversions and upgrading on this site.
