the faucets that the rear springs center on are not vertical over one another. the tops are in front of the lowers a good 1", maybe a little more. this makes the sprins lean forward. is this right? also my springs do not have the factory rubber locators on the tops. i just cut a piece of heater hose and slid it on the top curel of thr spring. im pretty sure i have the correct lenght lower ssm bars. any ideas whats going on here if this isnt right? Is the pinion angle correct?

Remember that the axle moves through an arc as it travels up 'n' down. Are you measuring at normal ride height?

yes the pinion angle is at 4* down. in the normal ride height the springs apear to be leaning forward abour 15-20 degrees to the front. just seems odd. my 71 is not like this, allthough they do lean forward, just not as much.
