I have a 69 fremont built car that the inside of the trunk is the color of the car, no splatter paint. Did gm use splatter paint or was it done at the dealer? Maybe mine peeled off through out the years.

Does anyone have any pictures of an known untouch trunk? Heres a pic of mine with no paint.

They all had the splatter paint from what I've seen. Looking at the inside of your left quarter panel it appears there's some on yours also. Zolatone is what it was called I believe.

No, there is absolutly no splatter paint on the quarter, I believe what your looking at is rust pits and throurgh the top its wet from being power washed. You can see the blue paint under the rust on the floor where I scuffed it up.

I owned a Fremont built '69 back in 1992, and the trunk, untouched at the time, was done is black/aqua spatter.

Body colour does look nice in the trunk, but I'd be so afraid of scratching it.
