Any seat from any A body GM car from 1968 through 1972 will fit your car. A body cars are Chevelle, Cutlass, Skylark,Lemans, GTO,GS.The main difference is the styling of the seat covers. The difference between a Chevelle 68 Bucket seat and a 69 through 72 Chevelle Bucket seat are the location of the seat back release and 68's didn't have headrests. However you could get a 69-72 seat and use it without the headrest if you desire. Just don't cut out for the headrest slots. 68 seat back release I believe on the side of the seat and 69-72 release for seat back is a push button in the center of the seat back. Replacements are plentiful with most needing rebuilt as far as springs/cushion and covers.

Just a little bit of clarification. 66-68 headrests were an available as an option and in 69 headrests were standard.

The 66-68 headrests are different though from what I've seen. I don't see why you couldn't use 69-72 headrest mechanism in the 68 seats.

My 68 headrests look like the 69 seats I used to have, but I am not 100% sure they are original since I got them used form a fellow member. They sure look original to the seats I have. The 66s I saw in another thread looked different though.....

http://www.chevelles.com/years/68/options.html has rough rendering/pic and mine look like those which IMO is the simliar to 69-72.

its hard to find a 66 67 and 68 with headrests though being original and ordered
