http://www.chevelles.com/forums/olp/images/misc/progress.gifI just changed the paper fuel filter in my quadrajet carb on my 67 Chevelle. I was then later reading where an inline glass fuel filter is better. So I installed one in-between the pump and the carberator. My question is, should I remove the paper filter and just run the glass filter, or is it okay to have both or will two filters restrict some fuel flow. Thanks. http://www.chevelles.com/forums/olp/images/buttons/edit.gif (http://www.chevelles.com/forums/editpost.php?do=editpost&p=1688068)

Many people use that glass fuel filter on their car. I know a guy who used it and his car caught on fire as a result of a gas leak. He sued and lost. There are many choices for filters but you do not have to run both whatever you choose to do.

I fix a lot of carb problems ,mostly caused from dirt and rust between the needle and seat..If you are buying the cheap glass ones with the plastic removeable filter, please stop they will not catch particles small enough
The wix in lines are good as are the fram G2 or G3
