I was told you shouldn't use ARP rocker studs with a stock style lock nut. Is this true?

Found out that you can't use ARP rocker studs with OEM lock nuts.

I don't understand why not. :confused:
What type of rockers are you using?
I've used ARP rocker studs with OEM style stamped steel rockers and nuts many times without a problem.
Now I you're using a roller type rocker, you need to use the proper locking nut for that rocker.

I was told that OEM nuts tend to strip the threads.
