We sent my 9375 out to Quick Fuel Technology for modifications. Sure looks like it ought to be fast as hell. smile.gif
So even if the car doesn't run the numbers....I can always just open the hood and say...."yeah, but just look at that carb!"
Anyway, they replaced the metering blocks with their own custom deals, Re machined the venturi, added their own custom boosters, and calibrated it for my intended use.
The front block now has a power valve. Jets I believe are 84/92.
The front boosters are slightly different from the rear ones. This is supposed to give the car better street manners.
So we will see how it works.
We sent the Comp billet roller back because it was bent. .006". And the lobes looked funny on the profiler....they were not consistent. Comp must be busy because it's been gone 2 weeks now....the original custom one took but a week to arrive. Maybe they are mining the iron ore.....
We will also have them add the cast dist gear.....if it's not in the mail already. Decided I didn't want to be the plastic gear guinea pig......
I can't remember if I'm behind 3 months on the dyno run, or is it 8 months? But hopefully we will get to the dyno in the next month. Even in Oregon, the drag season is about to begin.
