: 70-72 with 275/40/17's Pics needed

Looking into running 275/40/17 on a 9" wheel in the rear and a 255/45/17 on an 8" wheel on the fromt of my 70. Anybody have this combo? (or close) Did you need to lower the car slightly to make it look "right"
Post up some pictures if you have them & also the specs on the wheel / tire combo.

17 8's front and rear. 255 front 275 rear. 1 inch lower by using hotchkis TVS.

Do the 275's fit on the 8" rims ok? They are telling me 9-10" rim is needed. Is it a 40 series tire?

Yes they fit great. And the installer had no problem with them.
