I have my body off the frame and I am preping the frame for powdercoating.

The factory welds on the seams of the frame look like they are kind of spoty.

Is it recommended to weld where the factory missed and or reweld over the factory welds?

I know it will not be good to do a continuous bead so I don't warp the metal.

Just looking for imput to see what other people did.

Thanks

Ben

The factory welds are fine for strength.
If you want to connect the welds, grind and smooth everything. Go for it.

If you do weld over them, grind as much of the factory chicken-poop welds out as possible... when I did mine (welded EVERY seam) I had trouble with the factory welds' gas bubbles coming out in my welds.

They were fine for strength back in the day but should be checked as rust & cracks can weaken them. When my frame was sand blasted, a couple of the welds let go.
