Is a 4.5" angle grinder/cutter good to cut some of the floor pan around the shifter hump? What have you guys used? I'm thinking of buying one for $18 from Harbor Freight Tools. It's a "Chicago" brand. Thanks...

I used a 4.5" (4" wheel) to cut my entire floor out of my 67, including cutting the shifter hump out after the new floors were installed. I'm sure a plasma cutter would be much nicer to work with, buy the grinder with cutting wheels worked just fine

The die grinder and the air nibbler are what the old timer master metal men use...screw a bunch of plasma cutters...
