Well we reached a milestone in the restification process. We fired the beast up yesterday afternoon :D :D :D :thumbsup: :hurray: :beers: It runs soooo good and sounds soooooo sweet. Even the Mrs. was smiling from ear to ear as she knows she will be driving it too. I was worried about it being too loud with the Pypes exhaust system and Race Pro mufflers but it was just sweeeeet! Deep, throaty (wait, did I just say deep and throat together:p) and she crackles awesomely when we give a healthy blip.
I was also a little concerned about the cam being too lopey with the 108* LSA but it seems to have pretty good idle manners.
In case you can't tell I am just a little jazzed. Now she goes back to the paint shop for some minor touch ups and installation of the billet hood hinges and a complete polish. Then we put down the final layer of sound deadening foam, install the A pillar covers, kick panels, carpet and seats and we are done. She will come out just in time for the start of the driving season here. Yeeeeeehaaaawww. I will try to figure out how to post a small video (with sound) of her running yesterday.
