It could be worse. I personally don't like 15s or 22s, but if that is what he likes good for him. 17s or 18s for me, but we all have different opinions.

Get rid of those ridiculous looking wheels and that steering wheel (WTF is that about!) and it would be a decent fake SS.

don't you just love how it has no inner fenders?

i suppose the inner fenders are out due to necessity with the adjustable suspension. with the car sitting low, i don't see how you'd turn it very far without hitting the fenders. is it just me?

Looking at the front wheels and how close they are to the fenders, can you actually drive this thing over 15 mph?

The way it's sitting it's probably "aired out" and you would not drive it this way. Change the wheels, Add some inner fenders & it would be a nice car.

I agree. It seems like a lot of threads lately haven been about tearing down other owner's Chevelles.

I am not sure this site was created for that purpose. I always felt like it was to help fellow Chevelle owner's build a Chevelle they wanted whether it was factory correct, pro-touring or Dubs (whatever it is called).

To each his own. Back in the early 70's everything had the rear jacked up, back then it was cool., now it looks silly.:D

It wouldnt take much to improve the looks. I like the color. Engine compartment doesnt look to gawdy. Put some inner fender wells, eliminate the Cheech & Chong steering wheel, loose those rims for a different style and away you go. I dont mind the look of air bags.

In the world of custom trucks, the most common use of air bag suspensions, they dont drive them dropped that low of course.

I kind of like it, but if I kept it the way it is I would have to figure out how to lower the drivers seat about 8 inches. Or..

I wonder how much he would want for it without the chrome chain link steering wheel, 22 inch wheels, center console gauge cluster, air ride, and inner fender wells delete. Priceless!

Really, it's a heck of a lot nicer than my Malibu.

And if you were use to wearing handcuffs the steering wheel would fit right in.
