The hypers are done by Silvolite. Don't know about the forged ones. Good question.

The one set that I looked at were very poorly finished. Lots of sharp edges, just "cheap" looking. Might not hurt thier performance but they looked like you would have to spend an hour prepping them :(

That too bad Bill :( when was the last time you saw a set? I had a problem with the 6" rod hyper pistons and was wondering about the forged.

i have a set of hypers d-dish in my sm blk 350 that have worked fine, to this point and help put out 450 hp

I have a set of the KB forged pistons in my 67 468 ,I ran the GM quick seater rings I had to grind the gaps .that was two years ago I have had no problems at all.Good luck!
