Well I finally found a nice set of used super comps, and wanted to know if anyone has had good results with using por 20 coating on them.

I got it on mine but haven't fired it up yet. But I do beleieve it's gonna work. smile.gif

Painted my headers with it...did several coats. Worked well mostly, where it flaked I repainted and it looks good now. The flaking was probably due to a fault in the prep work. By the way the aluminum paint works real good on intakes/WP, cleans up easy and doesnt stain.

Thanks! I'll give it a try. I know Eastwood sells something similar and a little cheaper, but I've been really pleased with the Por 15 stuff so far. graemlins/thumbsup.gif

I had better luck with the Eastwood paint for durability, but it was neck and neck and too close to decide when weighing all the factors of prep and application temperature, etc.

You should be fine with either

Por 15 is excellent, its been on my headers for about 6-7 years and hasnt worn off yet
