Which one do you prefer in a turbo 350 and why? I have a Transgo transpak in mine. It shifts firm but not as hard as I would like. Also does a "shift kit" use the same separator plate as a transpak?

I had a B & M and took it out in favor of a Transgo. The B & M kit shifted way too hard, almost as hard as my Astro van, before I sold it.:) I really like the way the Transgo shifts, and I'm pretty sure if I want to firm it more, there is still parts in the box to do so. Daren

Depends on what transmission you have and what Transgo kit you use how firm the shifts are. If you have a Turbo 350 or 400 and put the pink spring on the modulator valve sliding piston you're gonna have too soft of shifts.

George,
Any usable stuff in that tranny I gave you?

Yes Bill
Thanks a lot, the transmission is working great. I just want it to shift a little harder.

I did install a spring on the modulator valve sliding piston. I don't recall the color but I will take it out and see what happens. Thanks

I did take the spring (gold) out and trans shifts firmer but I want more. I have also adjusted the modulator valve in three turns. We are headed in the right direction.
