I have a '66 with a small block and a turbo 400 and I'll need a transmission shield next year. Will the shield clear the stock floor pan? Thanks in advance,

Check into a CSI Super shield. I've got one in my 67 for a T350 and it fit great with no mods.

ditto - I have the CSI one on my 66 and TH400. You will however need to put access bolt holes through the firewall.
