Installed stud girdle now need spacers ..wont clear with GMMP covers .... I see B&B has aset over 1" thick really only need about 1/2 " anyone else out there make them ?? Bill

Nope, not that I'm aware of.

You can use 5/16" thick valve cover gaskets from Mr. Gasket, ROL, and others.

Jeg's sells the B&B ones I'm looking for any other mfg. .....double gaskets won't cut it

2 X 5/16" gaskets is 5/8" of space.

If that is not enough then you need the B&B spacers..
They are 1.125" thick..

You could get some B&B spacers and have them milled thinner as necessary.
I have a set and milling them to clean them up wouldn't hurt...

They also do not "fit" the head real good if you are trying to make them undetectable.

I was able to use the thick gaskets with Comp Pro-Mag roller rockers.

With a girdle and all that I would run the B&B spacers or a taller valve cover.

Jakeshoe ... your right,maybe I should try the double 5/16 gaskets ...I am concerned about the B&B not fitting too good ... Thanks Bill
