Can someone tell me how to test my '72 SS fuel guage. I have the guages out to restore my dash and would like to test it to see if it works.

Fuel gauges have 3 connections, power, ground and sender. Connect just power and ground, the gauge should peg to "F". Next ground the sender connection, gauge should peg to "E". If the above happens, gauge is working correctly.
