A friend of mine e-mailed this link to me.

It's a 70 LS-6 that seems to be pretty well documented, providing that the doc.s are real. :)
I really like the car, but noticed a few things that didn't seem right, however they could be easily fixed.
My friend inquired about the price. He told me $100,000
Does seem like a fair price if it's legit?
Does anyone recognize this car?

Lots of wrong stuff under the hood.
Looks like a nice car..I am guessing 75-85K and not the 100K they are asking

LS-6 coupes lately have been anywhere between 80-120K depending on condition and documentation. I have heard of some higher than that but they are the exception. This one is priced in the market if it lives up to the claims on the website. I would also hope that the D70-14 tires is a misprint, should have F70-14 tires. Looks like a nice car, but there claim of black cars being rare is not really true. Black seems to be one of the more popular colors. Your right, there are a few minor things wrong or missing in the photos, such as the smog. Most of them you find need something. More than likely can be bought for less. Good Luck!!!!

I have been all over several of their cars and priced them. They're about 1 hour away from me.

I wholeheartedly agree with the above statement based on what I've seen.

I wouldn't trust these guys at all.

A few years ago they had a 1955 Chevy for sale and they claimed it had a certain drive train, engine and transmission. I tracked down the previous owner and found out what was in the car when he sold it to them. I then called Mershons and asked them if they were sure that the engine they advertised was the one they advertised and I also asked if they had changed the engine after they bought it. Mershons replied that it still had the same engine that was in it when they bought it. I told them I had talked to the previous owner and the car did not have the engine that they advertised to be in the car. They became incensed and would not discus the car further.

Just my opinion.

Reading between the lines in all the other posts. I would strongly suggest looking elsewhere. I have heard all the same things about them too.

I learned many years ago that you should not trust a used car salesman.

Really seems to be true for those "classic car" dealerships. Had a near miss bad experience with one in Marrimack, New Hampshire. Losers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
