What do you think about the comparason between the Edelbrock Performer Aluminum intake manifold and the Weiand Action Plus Aluminum Intake manifold? They the same or is one better than the other?

Pretty similar.... You'll get Holley or Edelbrock partisans or detractors, but they're not too much different overall.

If this is a small block, look at the ZZ4 intake instead. You can find them on ebay all the time for cheap, new take-offs being sold by people putting on FI or whatever else. MUCH MUCH better than either of those, everything fits perfect, emissions legal.

I have run both on nearly identical engines...there is no noticeable performance difference between the two. Every edelbrock intake I have used always has better casting quality than anything I have used from weiand.

I guess the reason I'm asking is becuase I have the Edelbrock Performer and I have a chance to get a Weiand Aluminum intake that's Gasket matched, Its like new and I was wondering if it would be worth the swap.
