I purchassed one last night. The problem: In the magazine the description said nothing about the length (i figured it was a "stock" or close to "stock" lenght one, i was wrong) after printing my reciept it said it was a shorty (24"s long). Is this gonna work on my 71? I know the stock one is like 34" or somewhere around there. I know i can route it differently to make it work, but i would like it to easily accessible and show off a little bit seeing as i am spending a bit of money on it. Thanks guys. If this isnt gonna work, where can i get the best price on a 36"? I got mine from speedway motors but they dont have nor can they special order me the firewall mount one so im trying to find the best price! Thanks guys!!!

Thanks man, thats what i thought. I got it today and the "shorty" one is less than 24" even. So i cant even cheat it over somewhere to work. So im gonna order the 36" from summit. I know thats a little longer than stock (bout 2 1/2") but it will be better than too short. Thanks again!!!
