: Mother Natures is getting on my nerves..
ChaosEnvy Jan 29th, 08, 2:08 PM At 1:05pm here it is 62 Degrees outside... Its nice... It great..I want to get outside and enjoy it, but I am at work.. so you know that isn't happening..
I figure thought, I leave at 4:30 and the weather should still be decent.. No, I am dead wrong.
According to the weather.. in the next 2 hours, the temp is supposed to drop to 28 degrees and it is supposed to start snowing. 2 hours after that the temp is supposed to drop down to 9 degrees with a -7 wind chill.
Mother natures has a real dark sense of humor... 62 and sunny while at work... -9 and snowing when I clock out... Real Funny.. ha ha he he.. Bite Me Mother nature...

72 malibu Jan 29th, 08, 2:10 PM Shes can be a handfull, that is for sure, as I slid past my turn this morning, no big deal, but all I heard were sirens from all directions when I got to my parking lot..a lot of fender crackers today here.
jonh1373 Jan 29th, 08, 2:16 PM From sunny Minnesota, 43 yesterday and sunny, wow! Right now it is -2 and 27 mph wind. Ouch. Don't complain in Il., feel lucky!
quikss Jan 29th, 08, 2:30 PM Yesterday here it was just over 40 degrees out, this morning was just shy of 40 degrees out, now all the schools are letting out early because of the massive blizzard that is supposed to hit within the hour and tonight they are saying single digits with up to 60 mph winds. Think about that wind chill. Brrrr.... I hate winter. I was actually going to take my bicycle outside for a ride yesterday, but got side tracked visiting my mom at the hospital. Now I wish I would have, looks like it may have been my one opportunity to get a mid winter outdoor ride in.

Went to the eye doctor at 11:15 and it was allready 27 degrees above zero and sleeting out. Got back home from the eyedoctors and it was 20 degrees and snowing. Got a call from the wife the kids were getting out of school 2 hours early due to the weather. supposed to be blizzard or near blizzard conditions this evening. Right now its VERY windy blowing snow heavy at times and its 6 degrees above zero. Oh what fun weather is in Iowa and the midwest.

John D Jan 29th, 08, 7:03 PM Wahhh Wahhhh! ;)
Welcome to the upper Midwest. Yesterday it was 43 degrees here, and today the high was a scorching +5!
(I was the only guy working at on a job today... at 7am it was +5. When I called it quits @ 14:30 it was -7 with a -22 windchill factor. The only reason I stopped is because the lift I was in didn't want to run anymore! The hydraulic fluid was molasses and I couldn't go up/down/move.)
Hey, it builds "character"...............
Dave Birdwell Jan 29th, 08, 8:11 PM I'm sure your cold air is heading this way, a small thunderstorm just passed through, complete with lightning.
Xtreme70SS396 Jan 29th, 08, 8:45 PM Dang, it got cold fast. Had to work on my daughter's car tonight after work and WOW what a difference from this morning!!
ob68ss Jan 30th, 08, 1:32 PM It was in the mid 60's here, then turned cold. But, got a lot of painting done on the engine compt., radiator support, and grill before it did. Good therapy. Just got out of the hospital last Thursday for appendix and small hernia.
:hurray:
SS396ELKY Jan 30th, 08, 2:44 PM It's that dang Global Warming. Someone Tell AlGore!
Al Gore is a putz... Scientists have already linked Global Warning and the past Ice Ages...
All the great weather prognosticators in this area are having a tough time forecasting the weather... The news today was, we might get 2-4 inches of snow on one channel and the other is stating 4-6 inches...
kmchugh Jan 30th, 08, 4:15 PM Well it was 73 here yesterday, and it's about 55 here today. Dang cold weather :D
Finally Jan 30th, 08, 9:48 PM The cr** hit here yesterday, 40-60 mph winds overnight and most of the day. They've calmed down now which is good because the temp is only 10*.
Chris R Jan 31st, 08, 1:36 PM Old man winter always has his way over mother nature. I would like to kick him in the keyster myself too.
