While hangin' out with a gearhead buddy today, shooting the breeze, the subject of mufflers came up. He suggested I try some 3-chamber Flows. I agreed that they might sound nice, but mentioned I had been looking at getting some Dynomax Race Bullets.
He thought about it for a second and then led me out to his shop. Inside were a pair of 3" Race Bullets....barely used. To my surprise, he GAVE them to me. What a stroke of luck! He's a fellow racer friend at my local track, so I have to give a big thanks to the man who drives the blue '56 Chevy 210 Sedan.
On a not-so-side note, I inspected them and noticed that there ain't too much to these Bullets. ;) I bet they'll sound good.
Anyway....good score today!

they are noise!!!! my friend has them on a bigblock camaro . if you put them on put an Xpipe on also . my other friend has that set up on a 87 olds and the car sounds great. the X-pipe will work like an extra muffler

They can barely be called mufflers. They are almost the same as open headers. I've seen fellows sent home from tracks that require mufflers for being too loud. All of these were were attached directly to the headers. With pipe and a Xover, they might be quieter. Good score, though, if you can use them.

They're loud... but I think you'll love 'em!
Check this thread (http://www.chevelles.com/cgi-bin/forum/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic;f=35;t=000718) for some videos of my new bullets, if you want to hear what they'll sound like.

The burn out at the end of this video is my camaro with 3.5" bullets. They aren't real bad at idle, but get right out of hand when under load.

Wayne, not only do you have 6 mufflers, but you have 540 cubic inches of torque terror. I'm surprised you don't run 8 mufflers, but I'll bet it gets tight under there, as it is, with 4"(?) exhaust. tongue.gif
Seriously tho, Pat, my local track doesn't have any rules about mufflers so I should be fine. I'm going to have them flanged so I can bolt a cheap, quiet(er) muffler behind them if the need arises.
What bothers me is that I've been driving around the neighborhood with open headers and no one is giving me any trouble. I've even asked a few of them and they say it sounds good. Furthermore, I'm getting used to the sound as well. So either it's not loud enough or we're all going deaf. redface.gif :D
Nice sound clips guys!
