I'm familiar with Camaros... Not at all with Chevelles so excuse my ignorance.

Supposedly a guy has a LS6 '70 Chevelle 'Vert that's in rough shape, I guess my main question is with it being a Baltimore built car is there actually any way of verifying it as a LS6 or is that just unknown? As rough as it is it's not worth bothering with if it's not.

Vin reads 136670B190549 which I can figure out.

Trim tag is as follows:

ST 70 13667
TR 790 B203516 BD4 (not sure on all of those)
05B 45 PNT
B 0108

Don't worry about the paint/interior stuff, I'm just curious to know if this tells anything about the car really if there's no build sheet. Thanks.

Nope, the trim tag only tells you what colors are on the car, and the interior, and when the car was built.
This car was built the 2nd week of May. It was Seafoam Green with white interior. Bench seat.
Is this car owned by a gentleman named Bill??? Chris White knows of a rough LS6 convert that he has looked at and thinks it is real, but it is rough and the guy wants big bucks for it. BUT, he also says it is numbers matching.

Thanks man.

Unsure of the owners name, I didn't get to look at it... Just got the trim tag stuff and the car is extremely rough without build sheets so I guess we'll never know for sure, no motor or transmission. I sure wish GM documented this stuff better but I guess back then it was just another car.

On a side... There was a '69 Yenko Chevelle my dad almost latched onto about fifteen years ago that was rough in the very northern part of Kentucky, any idea where it went? Last I knew it was sold to some car dealer a few years ago.
