Anyone used billet CID emblems from these people? http://www.marquezdesign.com/products/CIDemblems.html I wonder how they fit up with the SS fender badges? Any Pics?

What options are there for a 540 other than this? I thought about taking a 454 and a 350 stock emblem and cutting the 4 off the front so it reads 54 and putting the 0 from the 350 on the back end to make a 540 but I am not sure if the fonts on the two emblems will match. Also it may be a challenge welding the material they are made from and getting everything to line up. It wouold be cool to make this up though so it looks stock. i can just imagine the comments at car shows from those who do not know the difference :D

The one problem I see other than the cost is the SS emblem has the white paint on the inside and the billet is polished. I know it is minor.

This is the only place I've found them, too. They seem to focus on Camaro emblems mostly. I didn't buy them because I think the font is too different from the SS badge - in addition to the white inlay on the SS. I keep hoping that whoever makes the 502 and other OEM style CID's will make a 540 soon.

I had a 66 tempest in 1985 (before i could drive)
I still have parts from it.. and the engine badges are some of the parts..

I know I have seen a 1234567890 package of numbers so that an owner could make his own engine sizes. I cant see paying that much money for something like that. I believe Trim Parts sells a numbering kit.

I think NPD has them as well, $15.00 each number if I remember correctly.

I believe they have more of a "stock" look to them if that is what you are after.

The package I remember seeing wasnt individually sold numbers. It was packaged set of numerals from 0-9. But I can remember if it was one of each number per package or if there was 2 of each. Perhaps that set isnt sold anymore?
