When the glass/body guy put on the trim around my front and back glass, it did touch the edge of the paint in one tiny place. One small tiny nick on an edge near the cowl grate. A door front edge touched the fender in one small place.

None of these are a disaster but I know they are there and I want to fix them. The front door edge needs to be corrected cuz it really shows up.

It's a BCCC Dupont job done last August. Had many coats of clear over a good solid base.

How can touch these little things up? Artist brush or air brush? And yes, they are tru the base. No way to buff them out.

If they can't be buffed out, a small area will (and should) be redone by the body shop. I've seen it done before, you just have to have the most experienced guy on the job to handle the blending of the old and the new.

If they are on an edge a good sword (touch up) brush will make them almost invisible especially on a solid color. I usually put a coat of color on and let it dry well, mix a little clear with the color and put on a second coat.
Or as stated, have the bodyshop reshoot and re-clear the entire panel. In my opinion on a high dollar resto a blend is not the way to go, it would be better to cut it off at a fairly sharp bodyline if possible.
