A friend of mine just told me he had a copy of DragAnalyzer 3.2. I don't know about the program or how to use it, but I can give him a down to the nails version of my car and he says he knows how to use it pretty well.
The problem is that it asks for flywheel hp. My engine was done at flywheel hp with my air filter on, hooker super comp headers, 3" exhaust w/ x pipe 20" case dynomax hemi super turbos and my 3" tails 88* room temp 37.5* timing 180 deg water and normal running oil temp, 120 amp larger case alternator and edelbrock (victor? I dunno) water pump, all I know is it was alum and had accessory holes.
I was wondering how much power (if any) this took away from engine dyno numbers from a dyno where they use either outside air or inside air (I'd never even think a dyno would pull in outside air...) and the exhaust.
Should I add like 10hp? or 5%? I want his sim to by as accurate as possible since I can't make it to the strip until sometime after may 10th.
I know my RWHP numbers but I don't think the sim program has an option for rwhp?
Just curious... and anxious.
Ride height adjustments bite.

Playing with the sim programs is just another form of self gratification. No matter how much you play with those sim programs it won't affect your real dragstrip numbers. If anything you are likely to be disappointed because even the best of sim programs make assumptions.

Good luck, your day is coming soon enough.

..what Thomas said.
Matt, with all respect..stop the numbers drama and just go to the track..and make sure you shift manually at the appropriate RPM for best ET too. graemlins/thumbsup.gif
