A while back there was a post from someone who had just got his carb in from a place that customizes them to your engine specs. I believe he said they even powder coat it whatever color you want.
Does anyone remember this post or the person or place that does this. Ive done a search but came up empty. I think it was in the performance section.

I had mine done by Ty at TPC racing. Did a great job and the service is great. Everytime Iupgrade my engine, I send it back and viola...its perfect.

I know the price varies from carb to carb but what did you guys have to pay for yours?

I had mine done, all done by the carb shop (www.customcarbs.com) cost me right around $500 I think to have a "stage 2" done with powdercoating. They did a awesome job, looks and runs great! My engine loved the carb and it looks trick

I bought a Bigs 750 Stage 2 about 1yr. ago and paid $599 + freight. Gave them every spec. on the engine, trans, gears, etc. When I got the carb I ended up having to change out the power valve, jets, and squirters to get it to run right. But Jesse over at Bigs was very helpful when I called. So I can say the support over there was really good.
And the carb itself looks great, and now that it is set up right, it is a strong performing carb.

Hamrdown, If I remember correctly mine was just under $500. I listed all the add-ons on my earlier post - it's a good price, particularly with the painting!
