I was just finishing up my front end;front fender repair, new control arm bushings and ball joints. I had a 1-1/4" sway bar for my car that I installed but it hits the tie rod end linkage. This is mainly when turning the steering wheel to the left. This is a 71 Chevelle. Do you guys have any suggestions to correct this condition. Thanks.

Would a different length end link give you some clearance?

Different length end links are the key to this deal. I found some at Performance Suspension that were about an inch longer. Just measure the ones you have and and tell them what you need. I think the ones I ended up with were for a 70's Ranchero or something like that. The bar will hit the tie rods hard without this little adjustment.
Tom (and your Chevelle will drive like a Camaro with that big bar. This is, IMHO, the biggest bang for buck mod you can do for a Chevelle.)

Thanks alot guys. That makes sense, seems like it just needs a little more clearance.

You need a longer end link for the 1 1/4 bar. Depending on the front end height, just add 1/2 to 1 inch to your current length. The aftermarket poly bushing end links are sold by length, so application is not important.
