What rims were offered on the 68? I am thinking I may have a set of 69's on my car. Is there somewhere I can see the different rims? Thanks.

Thanks Vince. They look like the 69-70 ones. I did see a car in the 68 photo gallery with the same rims.

I don't believe 69-70 SS wheels were used on 68's
(IF "rims" mean complete wheels, including the center part, not just the rim) :D

I *think* 69 SS wheels were rallys

Standard on the '68 SS was a steel wheel, 14x6", painted body color, with the small "dog dish" hubcaps. Bill Rose has a set of these on his car, but I don't have any pics.
Next step up was the P 01 full wheel cover on black painted steel wheels with SS emblems in the center. If you wanted to be dressier, then you'd get the N 95 wire wheel cover or the N 96 simulated mag cover, also with the black wheels.
The ZJ7 Rally wheels were optional equipment, silver-gray wheels with chrome trim rings and center caps.
Disc brake equipped '68's used a wheel with a different offset than the drum brake cars to clear the caliper.
If you look in my showroom, there are pics of my car with the P 01 wheel covers and some older pics when the car had Rally wheels on it.

I would love to attach pics of my rims, but I have never figured out how to attach pictures to these threads. There has to be an easier way. I tried the photo bucket thing, but even that was confusing. I am not computer savy, but not stupid either.

;)once you have the photos downloaded in to the photo bucket i think you just go under the photo and right click on one which highlights it then click copy then come back to chevell tech to respond and right click again on the area to insert photo or photo link then click on paste......:hurray:

Thanks Bill. I guess I need to find a set now. I don't guess I'll have a hard time selling the ones on there. I like the set on yours. Think I'll shoot for a set of those.
