I currently have 2 sets of tires for my 69 Chevelle SS. I have Firestone Wide Ovals which get great traction in a line but suck in corners. I also have BF Goodrich Radial T/A's which make the car handle much better but have almost no traction. I never drive in the rain or anything inclimate.

What suggestions do you have on a tire that will fit the radial T/A wheels, that is the best mix of handling and traction?

There is lots of drag radials out there, Mickey Thompson, BF Goodrich to name a few. They do hook better than the T/A's and do handle like a regular radial tire.
